London Borough of Redbridge review of its current grant programmes for the voluntary and community sector

The London Borough of Redbridge has commissioned a review of its current grantprogrammes for the voluntary and community sector.

Thecurrent corporate grants programmes are:

• Strategic Partners Fund
• The Emerging Needs and New Initiatives Fund
• The Small Grants Programme
• Redbridge Community Fund

Thegrant programmes are one of the vehicles that the Council has used in the pastto work with local groups to deliver and/or to test out new and innovative waysof delivering services in the community. However, in the light of thechanging priorities and financial pressures, this comprehensive review aims toenable the council to better support the ambitions of the Corporate Strategyand the Fairness Commission report.

Theoutcome of the review aims to be a transparent, equitable and accessiblegrant-aid process that will work in partnership with the voluntary andcommunity sector providing value for money and to meet the changing needs ofthe borough.

Thisonline consultation is one way in which you can contribute to the review andshould take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close on12 May 2016.

Therewill also be a series of engagement events, for representatives to explore andfeed into the review process in more detail.
