Our priorities

Safer communities

We aim to work with our partnersto reduce the impact of crime and anti-social behaviour, targeting resources effectively to reduce crime and tackle the perception of crime.

Enhancing the Environment

We aim to deliver a cleaner, greener and sustainable local environment, including cleaner streets, more re-use and recycling and quality open spaces.

Improving Health and Wellbeing

We aim to use our resources in a fair and equitable way to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people, including those in housing need, and improve the health and well-being of residents in Redbridge through provision of good leisure facilities for all.

Economic Growth

We aim to continue to promote the Borough as a business location and ensure vibrant town centres.

Enabling Independent Living

We aim to make sure more people are helped to live independently and safely.

Educational Excellence

We aim to ensure that all children perform well at all educational stages regardless of their background or circumstances and reduce the disparity between the best and worst performing pupils.

Supporting Young People

We want Redbridge to be an excellent place for children and young people to grow up. We want world-class outcomes and high quality services for our children and their families. We aim to continue to strive to minimise inequalities and to tackle poverty.

Efficiency and Transparency

We aim to ensure that the Council can demonstrate it provides efficient, effective, value for money services to the people of Redbridge.
