Roots to Routes is the title of the community led research project focusing on the experiences of people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups in adult acute mental health settings in Redbridge.

Come along to the Nelmht Sports Day on Thursday September 20th from 11am to 3pm in the grounds of Goodmayes Hospital to celebrate physical activity and the arts.
There will be a range of sporting activities including: tai chi; aerobics; cricket; football; netball and rounders.
Everyone is welcome to spectate or participate - bring a picnic and sit and watch the cricket match which begins at 1pm.

This is the most recent survey of people's attitudes to mental illness. The previous survey was conducted in 2003. Nearly 9 out of 10 think those with mental health problems deserve our sympathy and more than 4 out of 5 think society needs to be more tolerant towards mentally-ill people.
