Bobby Baker Book Event

Bobby Baker is, in her own words `a woman and an artist'. But for 11 years while creating internationally acclaimed performance pieces such as Box Story and How to Live, she also privately battled severe mental illness.

Bobby Baker will talk about her experiences, show selected drawings and read from her book on Wednesday 5 May from 2pm at Ilford Central Library.

Health for North East London Consultation Overlooks Mental Health

Redbridge Concern has expressed its concerns that the consultation does not address the needs of people with mental health conditions.

Calling All Carers in Redbridge

The Home Carers Pilot is a thirteen month project set up to offer health and wellbeing checks for up to 600 eligible unpaid carers within Redbridge and develop personal action plans, to address all aspects of the carers health and wellbeing needs.

To access the pilot you must: provide unpaid care for someone who is deemed to be at high risk of hospital admission; registered with a Redbridge GP and living in Redbridge.

Healthy Living Healthy Minds Report

This report explores issues around mental wellbeing in black and minority ethnic communities in Redbridge following the successful Healthy Living, Healthy Minds event at Cineworld Ilford where there were a series of films, speakers and open discussions on mental health.

Redbridge Concern for Mental Health is currently seeking sessional interviewers to join the Service User Feedback Project which aims to obtain direct feedback from mental health service users and their relatives, carers and friends concerning the quality of care they are receiving during their hospital stay on North East London Foundation Trust inpatient wards.
